On 16 April 2026, a delegation from the GIZ Ankara and Gaziantep offices visited SYCAC in Gaziantep. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss the ongoing collaboration under the RE-SEED project and its activities to support MSMEs, with a particular focus on women-led businesses to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills, improve market access, and promote their financial inclusion.
The discussion also touched on the structural barriers these entrepreneurs continue to face, as well as potential areas of support to further foster project's objectives.
This visit is implemented under the project “Resilient Employment and Socio-Economic Development in Earthquake-Affected Areas in Türkiye (RE-SEED)”, co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ in partnership with the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB) and SYCAC.
