SYCAC Organization successfully concluded a specialized training on Project Planning, Management, and Decision-Making, bringing together representatives from 10 organizations and youth groups from five provinces across Türkiye. The three-day training covered the entire project lifecycle, from project design and planning through implementation, monitoring, and project closure.
The training was built on SYCAC Organization’s strong belief that refugee-led organizations possess both the commitment and the grassroots presence needed to drive change. What they require are the structured tools and methodologies that transform this local engagement into well-designed projects capable of meeting international donor requirements while responding effectively to field realities.
Over the course of the three days, participants developed practical skills in designing logical frameworks, formulating SMART indicators, managing project implementation and monitoring, establishing accountability mechanisms, and developing sustainability strategies and exit plans. The program combined hands-on exercises, interactive workshops, and realistic simulations of international proposal review panels.
This training represents the second module in a comprehensive capacity-building series delivered by SYCAC Organization under the “Active Voices” Project, which aims to strengthen the institutional and leadership capacities of participating organizations and youth groups, enabling them to play a more effective and sustainable role in serving their local communities.
