Training to Strengthen Reproductive Health and Community Nutrition in Afrin

As part of efforts to support women’s health and strengthen community health awareness, Ladies for Change Team conducted a specialized training for community health facilitators on the fundamentals of reproductive health, healthy nutrition, and family planning. The training was implemented under the “Pulse of Life” initiative with the support and supervision of SYCAC.

The training focused on equipping health facilitators with essential knowledge and skills that enable them to disseminate reliable health information to women in their communities and promote healthy practices, contributing to improved family health and the prevention of common health risks.

SYCAC’s role in supporting this activity reflects its commitment to backing impactful community-based initiatives, building the capacities of local women-led teams, and enabling them to play an active role in enhancing health awareness and improving access to essential health information and services—particularly in areas with limited healthcare support.

SYCAC believes that empowering women with health knowledge is a fundamental step toward building a healthier, more informed, and more stable society.

This project is funded by BMZ and implemented in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH).
