As part of efforts to strengthen community-based legal action and develop needs-based interventions, a workshop was held to discuss the scope of work of the “Legal Clinic” initiative and to develop a clear implementation plan for the upcoming phase. The workshop brought together initiative staff and relevant stakeholders and was conducted with the support and supervision of SYCAC.
The workshop aimed to identify intervention priorities, define mechanisms for delivering legal support, and clarify roles and responsibilities, ensuring a structured and effective response to community needs—particularly with regard to Housing, Land, and Property (HLP) rights.
SYCAC’s role in this context reflects its commitment to building community-based legal intervention models grounded in planning, coordination, and sustainability, as well as strengthening the capacities of local teams to lead legal initiatives that contribute to rights protection, dispute mitigation, and the promotion of social peace and community stability.
SYCAC believes that effective legal action begins with a clear vision, well-designed plans, and genuine partnership with local communities to achieve long-term impact.
