As part of efforts to support sustainable agriculture and promote reliance on local resources, a hands-on training on producing organic fertilizer using locally available materials was conducted in Rajo village under the initiative “Together for Supporting Agriculture and the Agricultural Sector.” The activity was implemented by the Khotwa Team with the support and supervision of SYCAC.
The training focused on the practical aspects of organic fertilizer production, starting with an introduction to the importance of organic composting in improving soil fertility, followed by methods for collecting and preparing local materials, and concluding with the steps of production and safe application in agricultural land.
SYCAC’s support for this activity aligns with its commitment to promoting environmentally friendly agricultural practices and strengthening the capacities of community teams to lead practical initiatives that help reduce farming costs, improve agricultural productivity, and protect natural resources.
SYCAC believes that supporting local agriculture through simple, sustainable solutions is a cornerstone for strengthening food security and improving livelihoods in rural communities.
