Training on Marketing, Financial Planning, and Business Feasibility - First group

When marketing aligns with financial planning, businesses evolve from individual attempts into scalable and sustainable success stories.

Within the RE-SEED project, which supports economic recovery in earthquake-affected areas in Türkiye, SYCAC Organization in Gaziantep continued the implementation of the second phase of the Business Development Support Program. The same cohort of women entrepreneurs reconvened for a five-day consecutive training to advance their learning journey through a more in-depth and impactful training module titled:
“Marketing, Financial Planning, and Business Feasibility.”

This phase was not merely a continuation, but a qualitative shift in how businesses are understood and managed. Participants engaged in a comprehensive training experience that began with analyzing their ventures from both marketing and operational perspectives, progressed through the development of effective digital marketing strategies, and extended to gaining a deeper understanding of financial management, including financial statement analysis and access to financing mechanisms, such as bank financing.

They were also introduced to the development of robust feasibility studies and learned how to make data-driven investment decisions. In parallel, they strengthened their risk management skills, drawing on real-life success stories from the fields of e-commerce and professional digital presence building.

The true impact of the training was reflected in a shift in mindset. Participants moved beyond a focus on day-to-day operations toward adopting a more holistic and strategic vision. The depth of engagement was evident in the quality of discussions and the insightful questions raised, demonstrating an advanced level of awareness and readiness to apply their knowledge in practice.

What is taking place here goes beyond a conventional training it is the development of an integrated support ecosystem that empowers women entrepreneurs to lead their businesses with confidence and efficiency, while generating sustainable economic and social impact.

The development journey continues… and the next steps promise to be even more mature and impactful.

This activity is implemented under the project “Resilient Employment and Socio-Economic Development in Earthquake-Affected Areas in Türkiye (RE-SEED)”, co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ in partnership with the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB) and SYCAC.
