Report Writing and Success Story Documentation Training

Within the Resilience Strengthening in earthquake-affected areas in Syria Project, SYCAC Organization launched the first training in a comprehensive capacity-building series targeting partner community teams, titled: “Report Writing and Success Story Documentation.”

This training program was designed based on a thorough needs assessment conducted by SYCAC Organization to identify key gaps and capacity challenges among the teams. It aims to deliver tailored, demand-driven content that responds to actual needs and contributes to strengthening capacities in a systematic and sustainable manner.

The training spans four days and includes a mix of practical and theoretical components. It begins with interactive brainstorming around the concept, importance, and key characteristics of reporting, followed by an overview of report types and planning methodologies. The program further covers the structure of a professional report encompassing the background, introduction, main body, findings, and recommendations alongside hands-on sessions on writing techniques and storytelling design.

Through this program, SYCAC Organization seeks to empower community teams to document their experiences and achievements in a professional manner that reflects the true impact of their work and enhances their ability to communicate success stories with authenticity and effectiveness.

This training is not just the first step it marks the beginning of a comprehensive journey toward more capable and impactful community teams.

This project is funded by BMZ and implemented in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH).
