As part of ongoing efforts to support rural communities and strengthen their sustainability, SYCAC is launching the initiative “Together for Supporting Agriculture and the Agricultural Sector” in Raju–Rural Afrin. The initiative aims to empower farmers—both women and men—to adopt more sustainable and efficient agricultural practices.
The initiative focuses on the use of locally produced organic fertilizer in the cultivation of winter crops, serving as a practical step toward improving production quality, reducing costs, and enhancing household and community-level food security.
The initiative’s activities include:
🌱 Selection of beneficiaries based on fair and transparent criteria
🌱 Hands-on training on producing organic fertilizer using locally available materials
🌱 Practical sessions on proper storage methods to preserve fertilizer quality
🌱 Establishment of demonstration plots for winter crop cultivation through direct application with farmers
“Together for Supporting Agriculture and the Agricultural Sector” is more than a technical intervention—it is a call to reconnect with the land, and a pathway to community development that begins in the fields and reaches the tables of families.
