As part of SYCAC’s efforts to promote health awareness and empower women, the initiative “Pulse of Life” is being launched as a meaningful step toward improving the health and well-being of pregnant and lactating women and their children in Afrin and Jinderes.
The initiative aims to disseminate simplified reproductive and maternal health education, while empowering local women to become active community health facilitators through a Cash-for-Work (CFW) modality. This approach supports the adoption of healthier practices and contributes to building a more informed and supportive family and community environment.
✨ Key activities of the initiative include:
- Training community health facilitators on the basics of reproductive health, nutrition, and family planning.
- Conducting awareness sessions led by the trained facilitators, targeting women across the community.
- Distributing the “Your Health in Your Hands” kit to encourage the adoption of daily healthy practices.
- Organizing a final community event to showcase the initiative’s impact and promote a holistic health-supportive environment.
“Pulse of Life” is not merely an awareness initiative—it is a community-driven message affirming that women’s health is the foundation of a strong and supportive society.
