As part of the Empowering Women and Youth as Key Partners in Building Resilient Communities in Northwest Syria project, the third session of the Conflict Analysis Training took place yesterday, covering the following key points:
- The Importance of Conflict Analysis: Emphasized the critical role of conflict analysis in understanding the different dimensions of conflicts and their impact on communities.
- Identifying and Understanding Issues and Their Causes: Participants focused on identifying the key issues in conflicts and understanding their underlying causes.
- Conflict Analysis Tools: The session introduced practical tools for understanding and analyzing conflicts, including:
*The Conflict Map: To clarify the different dimensions of the conflict.
*The Conflict Triangle Tool: For understanding the interaction between parties, interests, and relationships.
*The Conflict Tree Tool: To identify the root causes and factors influencing the conflict.
*The Conflict Onion Tool: To explore the layers of conflict, from surface issues to core concerns.
The aim of this session was to enhance participants' skills in effectively analyzing conflicts and applying the right tools to identify and address root causes, contributing to peace and stability in their communities.
