As part of the Empowering Women and Youth as Key Partners in Building Resilient Communities in Northwest Syria project, the second session of the Conflict Analysis Training was held yesterday, focusing on several critical topics:
- Types of Conflict: Participants explored various types of conflicts and their impacts on individuals and communities.
- Theories of Conflict Causes: The session covered theories explaining the root causes of conflicts, whether economic, social, or political.
- International Classification of Conflicts: Participants were introduced to the internationally recognized classifications and different levels of conflicts.
- Conflict Patterns: The group discussed patterns of conflict, including non-conflict, latent conflict, manifest conflict, and superficial conflict.
- Conflict Management Methodologies: Various methodologies for managing and resolving conflicts effectively were presented.
- Perceptions and Perspectives: The session also examined how differing perceptions and viewpoints can either fuel or mitigate conflict.
The aim of this session was to equip participants with a deeper understanding of conflict dynamics and to provide them with theoretical and practical tools for effectively addressing conflicts within their communities.
