With the aim of equipping young people with digital skills and expanding their opportunities for the future, SYCAC has launched the “Tech for Tomorrow” initiative in Afrin.
The initiative seeks to empower young women and men to acquire modern digital competencies and apply them effectively in the job market and in community-based initiatives. It offers an interactive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork.
In a context where access to quality digital training remains limited, this initiative provides a practical response to the growing need for youth digital capacity-building—particularly in areas such as design, content management, and safe digital communication.
✨ Key components of the initiative include:
🖥️ Foundational and advanced training on digital skills and modern software
📱 Designing and producing digital content that reflects youth issues and community concerns
💬 A dialogue session on “The Role of Technology in Local Youth Empowerment”
📡 A youth digital showcase to present participants’ projects and technical outputs
🌐 Launch of a youth digital network for communication, opportunity-sharing, and collaborative work
“Tech for Tomorrow” is not just a digital initiative—it is a call to shape an engaged and aware generation of young people who lead positive change both behind the screen and on the ground.
