SYCAC participated in the Global Peace Summit – Paris 2026, a two-day event that brought together diplomatic figures, representatives of international organizations, experts, civil society actors, and youth networks from various countries to discuss global peace, trust-building, and the role of youth in protracted conflicts.
The first day was held at the headquarters of UNESCO and focused on dialogue, justice, international law, and meaningful youth participation, with a strong emphasis on moving from discussion to action and highlighting the role of community-based work in strengthening social cohesion and peacebuilding.
The second day took place at the French Senate and was more formal in nature, addressing the role of national and international institutions in supporting peace and multilateral cooperation.
The summit was attended by a number of high-level diplomatic figures, including the Ambassadors of Palestine, Yemen, Kenya, and Iraq, alongside representatives of international organizations and experts in peacebuilding and public policy.
SYCAC’s participation in this event, represented by Abdullah Sultan, came as part of its ongoing efforts to promote dialogue, connect communities, and reaffirm the role of youth and civil society as active partners in building peace grounded in justice and inclusive participation.
