Dialogue Session Titled “The Role of Technology in Local Youth Empowerment” in Afrin

As part of efforts to promote community dialogue around digital transformation, a dialogue session titled “The Role of Technology in Local Youth Empowerment” was held in Afrin under the “Tech for Tomorrow” initiative. The session was implemented by the Anbar Community Team with the support and supervision of SYCAC.

The session explored the importance of digital skills in opening new opportunities for young people, the role of technology in education, employment, and community-based initiatives, as well as digital challenges and ways to safely and effectively utilize modern tools within the local context.

SYCAC seeks to strengthen digital awareness among youth and empower them to use technology as a tool for learning, productivity, and positive civic engagement, contributing to the development of an informed generation capable of contributing to local development.

SYCAC believes that digital empowerment of youth is a genuine investment in the future and a fundamental step toward more equitable and sustainable opportunities.

This project is funded by BMZ and implemented in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH).
