As part of its ongoing efforts to promote women's economic empowerment in rural Idlib, SYCAC has launched the “Soap Stories” initiative under the project “Empowering Women and Youth as Key Partners in Building Resilient Communities in Northwest Syria.” The initiative aims to transfer sustainable vocational skills to women and enhance their productive capacities.
The initiative includes the following activities:
- Hands-on training for women on natural soap making
- Training on marketing and promoting handmade products
- Dialogue sessions focusing on shared experiences and the importance of collaboration among women
- Organizing the “Soap Stories” exhibition to showcase locally made soap products
