As part of its ongoing support to local communities in rural Idlib, SYCAC has launched the "Seeds of Goodness" initiative under the project "Empowering Women and Youth as Key Partners in Building Resilient Communities in Northwest Syria." The initiative aims to improve the aesthetic appearance of Barisha town and enhance the local environment through youth- and women-led volunteer activities.
The initiative includes the following activities:
- Beautifying the entrance arch of Barisha and painting curbs
- Removing waste from main streets and public parks, and planting trees in various areas
- Distributing 40 waste bins in strategic locations
- Conducting a training session to promote values of cleanliness and environmental preservation
