SYCAC Organization has launched the "Creative Hands" initiative as part of a series of community initiatives to be implemented in rural Idlib, under the project "Empowering Women and Youth as Key Partners in Building Resilient Communities in Northwest Syria." This initiative aims to economically empower women and enhance their participation in supporting the local economy and protecting the environment.
The initiative includes the following activities:
- Training women in recycling techniques
- Training women in bag-making
- A peer-learning session titled “The Story Behind My Bag”
- A final exhibition showcasing products made from recycled materials and handmade bags
🎯 Overall goal of the initiative:
To economically empower women and raise their environmental awareness by developing practical skills that open new opportunities for production and active contribution to their communities.
