As part of the ongoing training series to enhance the capacities of community-based organizations in Northern Aleppo, the second session of Project Management training has been held, with the participation of 15 trainees working in the program departments of the selected CBOs.
The session covered the following key topics:
- Project phases in the development sector: An explanation of each phase, from concept to evaluation, with a focus on how to manage each stage to ensure project success.
- Identifying stakeholders: Guidance on how to identify key individuals and groups who affect or are affected by the project to ensure their effective engagement.
- Stakeholder analysis: Strategies for evaluating the influence and role of stakeholders and how to integrate them into decision-making processes.
- Needs assessment: Steps to conduct a thorough evaluation of community needs to ensure that projects effectively address the priorities of the target groups.
This session aimed to equip participants with the skills to plan and execute their projects more effectively by enhancing their understanding of project management, stakeholder engagement, and needs assessment.
