As part of ongoing peer learning activities, SYCAC conducted the second peer learning session in Harbanush, with 19 representatives from local organizations, committees, and community groups. The session focused on:
- Reviewing the experiences of various organizations in implementing community projects and discussing the impact of their interventions on the community.
- Discussing key issues and challenges facing the community, such as the impact of organizational interventions on social cohesion and community values.
- Exploring cultural values, customs, and traditions, and how to respect and enhance them within the organizational framework.
The session also highlighted the importance of dialogue as a tool to foster mutual understanding between communities and organizations, contributing to trust-building and sustainable cooperation.
Recommendations:
- Align organizational interventions with community priorities and needs to ensure a positive, sustainable impact.
- Establish dedicated spaces for community dialogue, such as cultural centers and public parks, to serve as supportive environments for open discussions and improved understanding.
- Utilize these spaces as platforms for ongoing dialogue and communication.
