Launching the fundraising training in northwest Syria

As part of the capacity-building training series for selected community-based organizations (CBOs) in Northern Aleppo, SYCAC conducted fundraising training to equip participants with essential skills in financial planning and sustainability.

The training covered core topics, including:
- Financial Planning and Its Importance: Strategies to secure the financial resources needed to ensure the organization’s sustainability and long-term impact.
- Aligning Financial Planning with Strategic Planning: Ensuring that resources are strategically aligned with project goals to maximize outcomes.
- Developing an Effective Fundraising Plan: Practical steps to design a financial plan for charitable projects with clear goals and actionable steps.
- Creating a Comprehensive Budget: Accurately estimating costs and balancing available financial resources to optimize resource allocation.
- Drafting a Projected Budget for a Virtual Campaign: Providing participants with skills to plan financially for future initiatives.

This training aims to empower participants with strategic and financial planning skills that strengthen their capacity to manage resources effectively, supporting the sustainability of activities and projects and creating a greater positive impact within their communities.
