Third Peer Learning Session Northwest Syria

As part of fostering peer learning and experience exchange, SYCAC conducted the third peer learning session in Qourqania, with 19 representatives from local organizations, committees, and community groups. The session focused on:

- Reviewing the experiences of volunteer teams in Qourqania.
Sharing ideas on various community issues and intervention mechanisms.
- Discussing context analysis to identify and understand community issues.
- Addressing challenges faced by women in economic empowerment.

Recommendations:

- Gather community issues directly from residents and assess needs in collaboration with local stakeholders, using field studies to prioritize concerns.
- To ensure transparency and prevent conflicts of interest, designate a trusted entity for responsibility and a separate entity for service delivery.
- Organize regular dialogue sessions to exchange ideas and solutions, involving influential community figures such as elders and local leaders.

The session aimed to enhance cooperation and knowledge sharing on pressing community issues, helping build a shared understanding and develop sustainable solutions aligned with community needs.
