As part of efforts to support sustainable agricultural practices and enhance agricultural productivity, practical sessions were conducted on proper fertilizer storage techniques and quality preservation under the initiative “Together for Supporting Agriculture and the Agricultural Sector” in the Raju area of rural Afrin. The sessions were implemented by the Step Team with the support and supervision of SYCAC.
The sessions focused on hands-on approaches to storing fertilizer in safe and appropriate ways to preserve its nutritional value, reduce losses, and improve its effectiveness when applied to agricultural land. These practices contribute positively to crop quality while helping farmers reduce production costs.
SYCAC’s support for these sessions aligns with its commitment to promoting practical, locally grounded agricultural solutions and strengthening the capacities of community-based teams to lead agricultural interventions that improve livelihoods and enhance food security in rural communities.
