Within the framework of the Community Resilience Capacity-Building Project, SYCAC Organization, in partnership with the Azar Youth Team, is launching the initiative “One Community – Women Are Life” in Afrin, as a qualitative step toward building a society where women lead with confidence, competence, and a strong sense of belonging.
The initiative is grounded in a comprehensive vision that combines women’s social, economic, and cultural empowerment by strengthening their communication and dialogue skills, enhancing their productive capacities, and revitalizing local heritage and folklore as essential elements that reinforce community identity and cohesion.
Through a series of integrated activities, participants will engage in a rich training and dialogue experience that includes workshops on peaceful coexistence and social cohesion, trainings on personal and effective communication skills, sessions for experience-sharing and peer learning among women, and ultimately a cultural diversity exhibition that will celebrate participants’ achievements while reconnecting them with their local roots and heritage.
