SYCAC has launched the second training module titled Design and Implementation of Community Dialogue, as part of the Empowering Women and Youth as Key Partners in Building Resilient Communities in Northwest Syria project. The session was attended by 16 participants (12 females - 4 males) from selected CBOs and covered several key topics:
- Definition and Importance of Dialogue: The session introduced the concept of dialogue and its significance as a tool for communication and building mutual understanding.
- Comparison of Peacebuilding Approaches: Participants discussed the differences between dialogue, negotiation, and mediation as tools for conflict resolution and peacebuilding.
- Principles of Violence Prevention: Key principles for avoiding violence during dialogue processes were presented.
- The Importance of Dialogue and Its Impact on Communities: Participants explored how dialogue can contribute to promoting peace and stability within communities.
Different Dialogue Methodologies: Various methodologies for designing and implementing effective community dialogue were introduced.
The aim of this session was to equip participants with the necessary skills to design and implement community dialogue sessions effectively, contributing to fostering understanding and peaceful coexistence within their communities.
