As part of the emergency response plan that the SYCAC Organization is working on, to support those affected by the earthquake in northwestern Syria, data collection teams have completed the data collection process.
The process was supervised by twenty data collectors, who carried out the collection in four regions in parallel.
What sets this data collection process apart is that the data collectors received important training on the ethics of data collection, ensuring that the process was carried out with the utmost care and sensitivity towards the affected communities.
The training provided to the data collectors was aimed at ensuring that the collection process was conducted in a responsible and ethical manner. This included guidance on how to collect sensitive information in a way that respects the privacy and dignity of those affected by the earthquakes. The data collectors were also trained on how to maintain confidentiality and how to handle sensitive information in a secure and responsible manner.
With the completion of this process, the SYCAC organization is now equipped with the necessary information to coordinate effective relief efforts and provide targeted assistance to those most in need.
