SYCAC has concluded the Dialogue Facilitation Skills training, as part of the Empowering Women and Youth as Key Partners in Building Resilient Communities in Northwest Syria project. The training was attended by 16 participants (11 females - 5 males) from selected local organizations. The session covered several key topics, including:
Practical Applications in Dialogue Facilitation: Tools and techniques for successfully facilitating dialogue sessions.
Diversity Management: Addressing diversity through cultural awareness, effective communication, inclusive representation, and creating a safe and respectful environment.
Individual Performance Evaluation: Setting standards, self-assessment, feedback, development plans, and evaluation by facilitators.
Group Performance Evaluation: Defining group objectives, monitoring interaction, analyzing outcomes, collective feedback, and creating group improvement plans.
Future Planning Strategies: Developing strategies to ensure the sustainability and growth of future dialogue sessions.
The aim of this training was to equip participants with the practical skills needed to effectively facilitate dialogue, foster mutual understanding, manage diversity, and develop sustainable plans for continued community dialogue.
