In the village of Upper Kfardali, the story began with a small community committee that united the villagers around a shared goal: to make their voices heard and turn collective action into a path for change.
With support from SYCAC, the committee embarked on a comprehensive empowerment journey — from capacity-building and community dialogue sessions to implementing tangible initiatives that created a real impact in people’s lives.
From improving local services to supporting the most vulnerable groups and building bridges of trust between residents and displaced people, the committee became a model of what communities can achieve when they have the tools and believe in their own strength.
In Upper Kfardali, challenges were not the end of the road but the beginning of a new story — one of hope and shared responsibility.
SYCAC continues to support community committees to be active partners in building more cohesive and resilient communities.
