Tree Planting Activities in Lower Kafardali and Tal Ghazi Villages, Rural Afrin

Under the “Hand in Hand to Protect Our Environment” initiative, implemented by the Azar Team with the support and supervision of SYCAC, residents of Lower Kafardali and Tal Ghazi villages in rural Afrin participated in a community tree-planting activity. Young and old alike came together to plant trees, symbolizing life, hope, and a shared commitment to the future of their villages.

The activity went beyond an environmental action; it became a moment of community engagement that strengthened a sense of responsibility, belonging, and solidarity among community members across generations.

With a forward-looking vision, SYCAC continues to support sustainable development activities that emerge from within the community and are built by the collective efforts of its members, contributing to a healthier environment and long-term environmental awareness.

This project is funded by BMZ and implemented in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH).
