Syrian Peacebuilding Club

The Syrian Peacebuilding Club is an entity that brings together a group of activists from various regions across Syria. Its foundation is rooted in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, aiming to promote a culture of peace, instill the values of social justice, tolerance, and coexistence within communities, and pave the way toward societies that uphold citizenship and human rights.

The club was established in February 2022 by SYCAC, an organization committed to enhancing civic spaces that support peacebuilding and early recovery processes while contributing to the protection of community groups. SYCAC serves as the primary incubator for all of the club’s initiatives.

The club comprises eight peace clubs distributed across different regions in Syria, with each club including 12 members—both male and female—representing diverse civil society actors.
