SYCAC is preparing to launch a series of community initiatives across several villages in rural Afrin, aimed at strengthening the resilience of local residents and empowering the most vulnerable groups through practical and sustainable solutions that improve livelihoods.
These initiatives cover multiple sectors, including support for livestock, enhancing women’s economic participation, expanding opportunities for non-formal education, and equipping youth with skills and initiatives that enable them to better serve their communities. All activities will be implemented in partnership with local actors to ensure that support reaches the widest number of beneficiaries and creates meaningful impact within the community.
SYCAC believes that investing in community-driven initiatives is one of the most effective ways to build local capacities and improve the quality of life in the long term. The organization will continue implementing these programs through carefully designed steps that reflect the needs and unique context of each targeted village.
Stay tuned to learn more about each initiative and to follow the success stories that these collective efforts will create.
This project is funded by BMZ and implemented in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH).
