The Food Products Exhibition, organized as part of the "Hands of the Future" initiative, showcased the talents of women who had undergone intensive training in food production. The women prepared a diverse range of high-quality products, which visitors had the opportunity to taste and purchase, highlighting their skills and supporting the sustainability of their businesses.
This exhibition was more than just a platform for display and sales; it served as a gateway to new opportunities for the participating women. Several key initiatives emerged from the event:
- Syria Relief provided advisory services to trainees to enhance their expertise, improve product quality, and strengthen market competitiveness.
- Local traders in Azaz showed great interest in the showcased products, leading to agreements with 32 merchants to distribute them through their stores. Additionally, a direct order for dairy products was placed by one of the traders.
- The Step team developed a sustainability plan by creating a direct communication channel between beneficiaries and traders to facilitate partnerships and long-term collaboration.
- Members of the Future Syria Movement expressed their willingness to collaborate with the beneficiaries, offering them employment opportunities in Ramadan kitchen and confectionery projects for the upcoming season, emphasizing the importance of supporting such initiatives for lasting impact.
- Midad Organization offered to provide a fully equipped space for women to use as a food production facility, enabling them to scale up their businesses collectively.
