The second session of the "Leadership and People Management" training for CBOs in Northern Aleppo has been conducted. This session focused on essential topics aimed at enhancing strategic planning skills and improving the efficiency of community organizations, with participation from eight leaders of selected CBOs.
The topics covered during the session included:
- Definition and importance of strategic planning.
- The importance of planning and its role in achieving goals.
- Consequences of not planning and its impact on performance efficiency.
- Differences between operational planning and strategic planning.
- Steps for strategic planning and implementation mechanisms.
- Methodical development of strategic plans.
The session also included workshops for developing strategic and operational plans for each participating team. Additionally, a specialized workshop was conducted for stakeholder analysis and classification based on their importance and effectiveness in achieving strategic goals.
Through this initiative, SYCAC aims to achieve a tangible positive impact on the participating teams and enhance their capacity to successfully implement their projects.
