As part of its efforts to support meaningful youth-led initiatives and promote environmental and community values, SYCAC, in partnership with the Shuaa Al-Amal Team, launched the “Revitalization of the University Campus in Homs” initiative. This initiative aims to improve the overall appearance of the campus and encourage positive behavior among students regarding cleanliness and environmental stewardship.
✨ The initiative featured a series of activities, including:
• Landscaping and pruning of campus gardens to revitalize green spaces
• Cleaning main streets from dust and waste
• Coordinating the removal of waste with relevant local authorities
• Planting trees in selected locations to enhance green coverage
• Painting sidewalks with clear and harmonious colors
• Designing and painting murals that reflect themes of civil peace and the role of youth in protecting their environment
