As part of its efforts to support youth participation in building their local communities, SYCAC has launched the "Let’s Strive Together" initiative under the project "Empowering Women and Youth as Key Partners in Building Resilient Communities in Northwest Syria." This initiative aims to create a safer and more attractive environment for the residents of the town, contributing to social cohesion and sustainable development.
The initiative includes the following activities:
- Enhancing night safety: Installing self-charging lighting on poles along the main streets
- Organizing a community cleaning campaign and providing the village with waste containers
- Implementing a campaign to paint the sidewalks in the main streets
- Conducting awareness sessions in schools on the importance and responsibility of community members in maintaining cleanliness

🎯 Overall goal of the initiative: The initiative seeks to improve the quality of life in Qourqeena by enhancing night safety, improving the urban environment, and increasing community awareness of the role of women.
