As part of the Empowering Women and Youth as Key Partners in Building Resilient Communities in Northwest Syria project, SYCAC launched the fifth training module titled Inclusion and Integration, with 16 participants (13 females - 3 males) from selected local organizations. The session covered several key topics, including:
- Basics of inclusion and the concept of integration: Understanding how to include diverse groups in community initiatives.
- Benefits of inclusion in community work: Why engaging all groups is crucial for sustainable development.
- Importance of diversity in the workplace and community: How diversity can be a source of strength and innovation.
- Inclusive language in community work: The role of inclusive communication in fostering collaboration and mutual respect.
This training module aims to deepen the understanding of the importance of inclusion and integration in community work, ensuring that every voice is heard and every individual contributes to building inclusive and equitable communities.
