SYCAC has launched the fourth training module titled Conflict Sensitivity, as part of the Empowering Women and Youth as Key Partners in Building Resilient Communities in Northwest Syria project. The session was attended by 16 participants (12 females - 4 males) from selected local organizations. The session covered several key topics, including:
- A review of the concept of peace and types of violence: (direct - structural - cultural), as well as patterns and levels of conflict.
- Working with conflict: Understanding how to manage and address conflict constructively.
- Conflict Sensitivity: Exploring the impact of conflict on the social context and how to engage with it while respecting local sensitivities.
The goal of this training module is to provide participants with a deeper understanding of conflicts and their associated impacts, equipping them with the tools to operate in conflict-sensitive environments, ultimately contributing to the creation of more peaceful and stable communities.
