As part of the LANN+ program activities, an interactive session was conducted for children in Afrin to promote key concepts of healthy nutrition and personal hygiene through simple, engaging, and age-appropriate approaches.
During the session, children learned about the importance of consuming balanced meals that include fruits and vegetables, and why breakfast provides the energy needed to focus, play, and learn. They were also introduced to the correct steps for handwashing with soap and water, and the critical times when handwashing is necessary to prevent illness.
Through games and interactive activities, children explored the difference between healthy and unhealthy behaviors, becoming more aware that good health begins with simple daily habits.
