In its efforts to expand green spaces and promote environmental awareness, SYCAC is launching the "Instilling Hope" initiative in Kafr Safra village, Afrin region.
🔹 Main Objective:
To enhance the local environment and improve biodiversity by replanting trees and encouraging sustainable agricultural practices.
🔹 Activities:
1️⃣ Environmental Awareness Sessions:
Three 2-hour awareness sessions highlighting the importance of afforestation and stopping deforestation, targeting 12 participants per session, with a focus on engaging youth.
2️⃣ Intensive Community Awareness Campaigns:
Conducting 100 field awareness sessions (30 minutes each) over 10 days to foster environmental consciousness within the community.
3️⃣ Tree Planting:
Planting 500 cypress trees to enhance environmental quality and green spaces.
4️⃣ Tree Care:
Watering and nurturing the planted trees to ensure their growth and sustainability.
