Final Community Forum for the “Pulse of Life” Initiative in Afrin

The “Pulse of Life” initiative, implemented by the Ladies for Change with the support and supervision of SYCAC, concluded with a final community forum that brought together participants, community actors, and individuals from diverse groups. The event highlighted the health and awareness impact achieved by the initiative in Afrin and Jinderes.

During the forum, participants reviewed the efforts carried out in the areas of reproductive health awareness, nutrition, and maternal and child care, while also showcasing success stories and learning experiences led by trained women who served as community health facilitators.

As a gesture of appreciation, certificates of recognition were awarded to the trainees in acknowledgment of their active participation, their vital role in disseminating health awareness, and their contributions to fostering a more informed and supportive family environment.

SYCAC played a central role in designing the initiative, ensuring the quality of its implementation, and creating a safe and enabling space that strengthened women’s roles as leaders in community health.

“Pulse of Life” was not merely an awareness project it represented a meaningful step toward women’s empowerment and the building of a healthy, inclusive community.

This project is funded by BMZ and implemented in partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH).
