As part of the ongoing activities of the “Nature’s Gold” Initiative, implemented by the Environment and Peace Team under the support and supervision of SYCAC Organization in rural Afrin, a specialized theoretical training on the fundamentals of beekeeping was conducted in the Midanki area, this time targeting a group of male participants involved in the initiative.
The training covered the essential theoretical aspects of beekeeping, ranging from understanding bee behavior and hive dynamics to learning proper and safe hive management practices, as well as exploring how this knowledge can be transformed into a sustainable income-generating project that supports household livelihoods and strengthens self-reliance.
This theoretical training represents the first step in a comprehensive pathway designed by SYCAC Organization to ensure that every participant acquires a solid foundation of knowledge before moving on to practical field application. After all, success in beekeeping begins with a deep understanding long before one reaches into the hive.
