Announcement of Registration for Community Committees in Four Areas of Rural Afrin

As part of our efforts to enhance community participation in setting development priorities and action plans, we are pleased to announce the opening of registration for joining community committees in the following areas. Members (both men and women) will be selected based on specified criteria to ensure fair and broad representation.
 
📍 Registration Dates and Locations:
 
Kafrshil: 14/11/2024 at 10:00 a.m., in the Mukhtar’s office.
Nireh: 14/11/2024 at 12:30 p.m., in the Mukhtar’s office.
Upper Kafardali: 18/11/2024 at 10:00 a.m., in the Mukhtar’s office.
Lower Kafardali: 18/11/2024 at 12:30 p.m., in the Mukhtar’s office.
 
🔹 Selection Criteria for Membership:
 
- Minimum of three years of experience in civil society activities (humanitarian/social/human rights).
- Active engagement in local community and public affairs, including membership in local councils, participation in civic gatherings, or involvement in volunteer initiatives, etc.
- Strong connections with civil decision-makers and local influencers.
- Advocacy for citizenship principles, with a focus on supporting women’s and children’s issues.
- No affiliation with any military entity and no participation in any direct or indirect military activities.
- Residency in the region for at least three years, ensuring a deep understanding of the community's needs.
- Willingness to join and the ability to commit to committee responsibilities and meeting attendance.
- Capacity for dialogue and acceptance of diverse viewpoints.

- Bring all required documents to complete registration according to the specified criteria.
