Based on the importance of building bridges of communication and coexistence between displaced and host community, the SYCAC Organization organized the #Together_Towards_A_Cohesive_Community initiative.
Within the framework of this initiative, two discussion sessions were held on the urgent needs to increase community cohesion, with participation of of 45 people (including women) of displaced, residents, and workers of civil society organizations in northwest Syria. The participants confirmed the importance of supporting societal participation and enhancing opportunities for individuals to participate in decisions and community activities, combating discrimination, promoting dialogue and understanding, as well as organizing cultural and social events and initiatives, and highlighting common values that contribute to strengthening understanding and peaceful coexistence.
