Training for Women in Bag Making in Ma'arat al-Ikhwan

As part of the "Innovative Hands" initiative implemented by SYCAC in collaboration with the Zumurdat Volunteer Team, a hands-on training was organized for women on handbag making using simple and locally available materials.

This training aimed to economically empower women by equipping them with artistic and practical skills that can be applied to small-scale businesses. It also sought to encourage creativity and the use of accessible resources to produce unique handbags that suit local tastes.

The training covered the following topics:

- Introduction to tools and materials used in handbag making
- Techniques for cutting, stitching, and manual design
- Guidance on finishing quality and aesthetic details
- Practical production of sample bags by the participants
