The Syrian spirit Rebuilds it is not an ordinary phrase randomly raised, but rather a slogan for several campaigns conducted by the Syrian Peacebuilding Club, under a unified hashtag carrying the statement The Syrian Spirit Rebuilds It. These campaigns have taken place in various regions across Syrian geography, encompassing communities representing diverse Syrian spectra. The campaign included documenting the voluntary initiatives carried out by the Syrian civil society, extending a helping hand to the sons and daughters of the country affected by the earthquake on February 6th through the Syrian geography, overcoming all sectarian, political and ethnic obstacles and barriers.
The Syrian Peacebuilding Club documented 162 social initiatives during the month of June, where the number of volunteers exceeded 7000 volunteers who provided everything they could to the affected people, starting with first aid and psychological support, and ending with rubble removal and saving lives, as well as distributing supplies and relief items. This was accompanied by four intensive discussion sessions in all the aforementioned areas, involving leaders and activists from the local community and those interested in peace-building and civil peace. The sessions addressed topics related to the impact of these initiatives on the community, solidarity, and social cohesion. Everyone expressed the profound impact, especially in bridging the gap between Syrian regions and components, in addition, changing the stereotypical image of certain geographic areas and their inhabitants.
