With the beginning of 2022 and as part of one of project in which SYCAC will establish the Syrian Peacebuilding Club, which includes 72 participants from 6 geographical areas within three different areas of control, The Syrian Peacebuilding Club consists of a group of individuals from different Syrian regions working to rebuild bridges of trust and open channels of dialogue between the components of Syrian society in order to restore the broken Syrian social contract and build sustainable peace that guarantees social justice between the various components of Syrian society . The club believes in the values of justice and equality. And partnership to reach a common ground based on the principles and values of citizenship and human rights.
The Peacebuilding Club also seeks, through its mission, to create bridges between Syrian societies in pursuit of a more coherent society and awareness of its rights and duties, and to enhance the capacities of young people to build local peace in Syria, thus contributing to building sustainable peace in Syria, leading to a society free of Violence, discrimination and hate.
SYCAC held a lot of dialogues and discussion sessions that focused on knowing the current roles of community leaders in building local peace and the expected roles, in addition to some recommendations that contribute to building real and sustainable peace in Syria from the point of view of a variety of Syrians.
