In one of the orphan care centers in the city of Afrin, the Community Engagement Team conducted an interactive awareness session for children using the LANN+ methodology, focusing on key concepts of healthy nutrition and personal and public hygiene through simplified approaches suitable for their age and needs.
These sessions are part of a series of activities implemented across Afrin and its surrounding rural areas, with the support and supervision of SYCAC, within a broader program aimed at strengthening awareness among different community groups women, farmers, and children about the relationship between food, health, and the environment.
The goal of these sessions is to foster healthy behaviors from an early age and empower children to adopt daily habits that protect their health and positively influence their families and communities, particularly in more vulnerable settings.
