With the aim of improving the educational and residential environment, enhancing the spirit of belonging and cooperation between residents and internally displaced persons (IDPs), and promoting teamwork and social responsibility, SYCAC Organization launched the "Dream and Giving" initiative in the village of Kafr Shil, in rural Afrin.
Key activities of the initiative:
- Improving the infrastructure of one of the village schools by paving the courtyard.
- Installing an iron fence around the school to maintain public safety.
- Providing garbage containers within the school courtyard.
- Painting an awareness mural on environmental preservation inside the school.
- Conducting awareness sessions for students’ parents on protecting children from violence and promoting positive behaviors.
- Organizing environmental awareness sessions for children about cleanliness and collective responsibility, along with distributing gifts to all children.
