Communication and advocacy skills training

SYCAC Organization successfully concluded the third training in its comprehensive capacity-building series, bringing together representatives from 10 organizations and youth groups across five provinces in Türkiye for a three-day programme focused on strategic advocacy planning and campaign development.

The training covered key topics including issue analysis, advocacy goal setting, stakeholder mapping, message development, coalition building, and risk management. Through interactive sessions and practical exercises, participants developed advocacy strategies tailored to address the challenges facing their communities.

This training marked the conclusion of a nine-day training series designed to strengthen the institutional and leadership capacities of refugee-led organizations and youth groups, equipping them with the skills to design initiatives, mobilize resources, and create sustainable positive impact within their communities.

In the next phase, participants will deliver knowledge-sharing sessions in their respective areas of work, helping to expand the programme’s impact, promote peer learning, and support the development of more community-led initiatives.
