A report by the Enab Baladi newspaper about the #I_Can initiative, executed with support from the SYCAC organization aimed at integrating individuals with disabilities into both society and the job market. Participants received training in project management and planning, along with training in the manufacturing of cleaning products, intending to empower them and open new horizons for their involvement in the job market, thus enhancing their sustainable development.
Upon completion of the training, SYCAC organized a dialogue session involving numerous civil society organizations, early recovery groups, employers, and participants with disabilities. The primary goal of the session was to build communication bridges between these entities and shed light on the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities in accessing job opportunities and establishing their own projects.
At the end of the initiative, an exhibition was organized to showcase the products crafted by participants with disabilities, intending to introduce these products to the market and raise community awareness. The exhibition was attended by representatives from various civil society organizations, early recovery groups, employers, traders, and industrialists.
