A dialogue forum on Resolution 1325

Within the project of Syrian women’s participation in the political process and peace-building practices, the SYCAC Organization held an online dialogue forum with 22 participants of different regions in Syria, aimed for deeper understanding of the role of economic empowerment in improving women’s political participation, participation in decision-making centers, and preventing gender-based violence. At the end of the forum, implementable suggestions were produced that are in line with the provisions of Resolution 1325 and contribute to improving the situation of women in the areas most affected by the conflict in Syria.
